I noticed you have a real analytical, almost academic approach to jiujitsu.

I watch a flood of BJJ videos from random to matches to instructionals, but I feel like I’m not getting much out of it.

When you watch footage what is your approach to breaking it down and learning from it? Then how do you take that and apply it?

Who is behind BJJEngineer?

My name is Roberto Torralbas and I'm a full time BJJ Practitioner/ Competitor/ Instructor / Coach / and School Owner making a living from what it is one of the most demanding and beautiful martial art / sport in the world. Back in 2003 I stumbled upon a small group of skinny guys doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I didn�t know it at the time but that moment changed my life. After having had some experience Judo in the past one skinny BJJ white belt tapped me many times consecutively.
